MBFW Australia – Day 5 – Denim on Denim

It’s the last post about MBFW Australia – I promise! Well, to be fair, there were no more than 5 days of Fashionweek anyway. On the last day I wore my second favorite outfit – Denim on Denim with orange tassle heels and a cute neck scarf. Those amazing heels were one of my best buys/bargains here in Sydney. They are from Nine West and I got them for an incredible $40 instead of $160!! I am still deeply in love with them, although they might not be the easiest to combine. The neck scarf was actually a little experiment; I found it the day before in one of the goodie bags and since chokers are super in style right now, I thought I might try the scarf out as a chocker and see how it goes…. and I loved it! The colors fit perfectly with the Denim on Denim, and it has that has that sophisticated „Im on a boat, chilling with my glass of champagne“- look… if you know what I mean. The skirt I am wearing has been one of my favorite skirts for more than 2 and a half years now. It has become one of my essential pieces and does not seem to go out of fashion any time soon.

The last day of MBFWA obviously has to be a special one, which is why Oscar de la Renta was given the closing show. While, to be honest, the collection did not really impress me that much, I was delighted to see one of my favorite models, Victoria Secret model Shanina Sheikh on the runway and even in the fashionweek building just passing by me. However, I did not release the fangirl in me, because otherwise I totally would have taken a selfie with that gorgeous lady.
