MBFW Australia 2016 – Day 4

This is probably the latest post about MBFW Australia. I dont think it took anyone else that long for reporting about the events. Yea, no magazine would ever hire me. And this is not even my final post about Fashion Week… But as with many things in life, I say better late than never!

I remember day four was really hectic for me. I had a group meeting and graded presentation at uni that day and of course I did not want to miss out on the shows at FW.  However, I was extremely lucky, since Carriageworks, the FW location, was literally a 5min walk away from my business school. So I constantly went back and forth, somehow managing to not miss out on any of them. Looking way too overdressed for uni, nobody really seemed to care about it, since Sydney people are simply used to dressing up. I wish balancing two things would always be that easy…

Anyway, that day I was wearing a black mesh skirt from H&M Trend with a new off-shoulder top with an integrated choker, kinda. I love these kind of tops, and they’ve been a major trend here in Australia this summer. I cant wait to go back to summer in Europe and continue wearing them – I’m wondering if they will be as popular over there! Unfortunately my choice of shoes was a compromise I had to make because of walking back and forth between MBFW Australia and uni. Some cute black ankle strap heels would have been definitely a better choice. But oh well, the sneakers make the look a bit sporty, which is also a kinda cool look I think.
