I know, I know. Since I am in Copenhagen I haven’t really taken any photos that show you how beautiful the city actually is. Although, I already know so many pretty spots that I want to share with you. But you know, settling down in a new city is not something that takes place within 1 to 2 months, not even within 3 or 4 months! Even though you want everything to be all set and done – knowing your way around, having found your favorite cafés and restaurants, and of course, meeting the people that become your friends – it takes a lot of time and effort to get there. And that is the social part… first you gotta deal with all the boring, annoying stuff like apartment hunting, registration, bank accounts, and, and, and.
What I am trying to say is that being at a new place, changes your life completely. You got to start from scratch, slowly building up everything you were used to and you want it to be. As a blogger, I have the additional struggle that I need to build up my professional network from scratch as well. PR agencies, bloggers, photographers – I need to work with all those people in order to get my own work properly done. So even though I have great ideas in mind, often I cannot implement them all by myself. This is what basically explains what I said in the beginning. I would love to do so many photo shootings around the coolest places here in Copenhagen, but finding photographers and bloggers has been quite difficult so far.
However, recently I found lovely Rebekah Schott on Instagram, a photographer from New York, who recently also moved to Cph. So we teamed up and took my first „Copenhagen-Style“ photos! I absolutely love how they turned out. But I must admit, I also really liked my outfit so much! It’s all by Asos Collection, and every single piece I love! The vinyl trenchcoat is just such an amazing statement piece (gotta love the vinyl trend!!), the jumper has super cute details, the pants are simply the best Mom jeans ever, and the booties are just hot!
