Best Buy: The Asymmetrical Patterned Midi Skirt

This is my first outfit post straight out of Berlin and yess I am wearing one of my best-buys from Sydney: my asymmetrical patterned midi skirt!

How the both of us got together is actually a kind of funny story. During my first week in Sydney, I already explored the Austrlian fashion world because – well, do I have to explain? So, one of the shops that was recommended to me was Kookai. I knew this brand before but in Germany or the Netherlands its not popular at all and I remember it even being not that nice. However, when I visited the Kookai store in Pitt Street I kinda went crazy. The stuff they had was just sooo extremely pretty, but also quite expensive. Being all excited I just went and bought that patterned midi skirt. Soon, I realized that I just spent way too much money on this skirt and that I should rather save it up for my upcoming travels in Australia. So, I gave it back and was left heartbroken. Haha.

Anyway, In my last week in Sydney there was the Mid Season Sale going on and I kind of wanted to go for a last big shopping spree before returning back to Germany. What did I discover at Kookai? That patterned Midi Skirt in my size, chillin all alone between their assortment, for only half its original price!! Obviously it landed it my shopping bag, right back where it was 5 months earlier – but now it could stay, haha.

Despite the fact that this patterned midi skirt is extremely tight, I think it’s such a cool piece that can be combined in a very stylish, but also in a classy and chic way to the office. It’s really an all-rounder, which is why I still consider it one of my best buys from Sydney (and even for half the price! ;) )
