Back to the 70s with River Island

Was ich tragen würde dieses Jahr zur Berlin Fashion Week? Also, der heutige 70s-inspired Look wäre auf jeden Fall eine option für mich. Achja, es bricht mein Herz diesen Satz im Konjunktiv verfassen zu müssen, denn nach zwei Jahren Berlin FW im Sommer, muss ich dieses Jahr die Tradition unterbrechen wegen meines Praktikums. Andererseits bin ich natürlich super froh darüber die Stelle bekommen zu haben, so viel zu lernen und natürlich in Köln zu leben! Als ich also wieder von River Island kontaktiert wurde, um den idealen Look für die Berlin FW zu kreieren, hat es sich wenigstens etwas so angefühlt als wenn ich mich wirklich dafür vorbereite.

Ich habe mich also für einen 70s-inspired Look entschieden, weil ich diesen Trend in letzter Zeit einfach super cool finde. Ich habe sogar schon überlegt mir eine Schlaghose zuzulegen. Ist zwar nicht der typische Ranim-Look, mit all den Brauntönen und dem Boho-Touch … aber ich freunde mich immer mehr damit an. Am liebsten gefällt mir jedoch die Sonnenbrille an dem Outfit – soo cool! Was haltet ihr von dem Look?

What I would wear if I went to this year’s Berlin Fashion Week? Well, this 70s inspired look  would probably be one of my looks. It breaks my heart writing this in an if-clause, because after two subsequent years of going to Berlin FW in the summer, this year I will not make it due to my internship here in cologne. Sure, I am appreciating the opportunity,learning so much and having a great time here in Cologne, but Berlin FW in July was evolving into a tradition for me. So, when River Island contacted me, asking me to create a RI look for Berlin FW, it felt at least a little bit as if I was preparing to actually go.

So I decided to create a 70s inspired look, because lately I am simply so in love with this style. It not at all the typical Ranim-Look, as it involves a lot of brownish shades and a boho-touch… but I’m getting there… My favorite piece of the outfit are the sunnies though – so cool! What do you think of this look?
