Video | Fashionblog Battle – My Trends for Spring 2015

 

Heyy everybody! I hope you remember that I mentioned in a previous post that I am participating in the Fashionblog Battle of Entre Deux – well I made it to the semi finals and in order to enter the finale, I have to write a blog post and make a video about this year’s spring trends! So, I took my lovely camera lady Jenny for a shopping trip in the EntreDeux and made a video out of it. I hope you like it!

But for now, let’s talk about the trends that are waiting for us this spring. While shopping and by going through my favorites magazines and websites I collected some inspiration and picked out the trends I am looking forward to the most! Here they are:

1. Black and White

Seriously? I feel like this trend was made for me! Although it never really has been out of fashion, I am surely happy that the best designers in the world decided to make it absolutely in style again! We will see loads of black and white combined through graphical patterns on very clean cut clothes. If you like you can bring in some color by putting on a poppy red lipstick!

2. Denim, Denim, Denim

As you might have noticed, I am a huge fan of denim and jeans. Besides my all-time favorite skinny jeans, I am definitely looking forward to distressed jeans, boyfriend jeans and the so-called girlfriend jeans! Interesting! Wear them during the day with cool sneakers or at night with a fierce pair of high heels and you will definitely look fab this spring.

3. Seven Nation Army

Military is back again – but this time we should not only wear it during the autumn days, but also in spring! Get ready for loads of khaki and beige and lovely feminine cuts to overcome the pitfall of looking like a soldier!

4. Kimonos and Vests

I know, in the past years we got so used to our cool leather jacket. Wearing it over a simple T-shirt would directly make your whole look cooler. This spring, however, there are some new helpers that will make you catch eyes. Colorful kimonos with fringes at all lenghts as well as sleevesless blazers or vests are our new leather jackets this spring.

5. Pointy Shoes

I never believed that we would ever get back to pointy shoes. But over the last seasons they just got more and more pointy! I am starting to really like them while trying to forget about the horror picture of these superlong pointy boots from the 90s, that is still a bit stuck in my mind.

I am definitely looking forward to this year’s trends and cannot wait for all the winter sale stuff to finally be removed. So girls, hurry up and make your last bargains cause its time to prepare for spring 2015.
