It all seems like this post will be about this colorful wrap shirt from Zara, but actually there is so much going on in my life at the moment, I thought it would be good to write it down in a blog post – for all of you that don’t follow me on instagram/story, cause there I basically keep you updated every day.
Yesterday I left Berlin. Probably many of you didn’t even know me „before Berlin“, but actually I only lived in Berlin for 11 months. Continue Reading
There you go – part two of my little festival series with ASOS. In case you haven’t read my first post yet, make sure to check out the first look here. While the first look was all edgy with denim and leather in monochrome, today’s outfit is quite the opposite – it’s colourful, playful and boho! I must say, I instantly fell in love with this boho dress when I spotted it in the online shop. The combination of colours, the pattern, the lace-up details, as well as the woven, bouclé-style material make this boho dress so special, but also so premium-looking.
I took those pictures already a couple of weeks back – only now I got the chance to post them. What changed? Well, now my hair color finally got fixed, plus I completely cut this camouflage shirt into a whole different style. I actually just bought it to get a little bit experimental… from time to time I just enjoy a little DIY you know. Continue Reading
Coachella has haunted us – it was simply all over social media. This year, there probably have been as many anti-coachella posts as „I-am-having-so-much-fun-here-at-coachella“-posts. Well, haters gonna hate, but in the end we can not deny that the outfits at this festival are indeed inspirational, even if not always totally wearable.
The festival season has actually just started for everyone else, so I thought I could show you two looks which would totally work for, let’s say a summer concert or any other outdoor music event, where it’s less about showing off and more about the music. But even in that case, the outfit still has to be on point… can’t really help it as a fashion enthusiast, can you? ;)
New York was good to me – in fact, it was really good to me. Only being there 10 days, I was contacted already by quite a few brands for collaborations. Unexpectedly, among them was Nicole Bakti, a brand that sells beautiful dresses, worn by many reality TV stars on US television. Those of you who follow me on Instastories probably have seen how I went to their showroom in NYC and tried on a couple of their amazing dresses. Choosing my favorite was really the hardest decision… Continue Reading
It’s cherry blossom time again – I always love it when it starts getting colourful outside, the days get longer and we all start anticipating warm temperatures, loads of sunshine and simply a chilled summery vibe. But what is also good about cherry blossoms is that they make the perfect background for shooting those light, super comfy rose culottes from Topshop. I bought them in New York from the Sale and they were such a great bargain. I think they are going to be a great essential for this spring/summer.
New York’s style inspired me. While it is more subtle and casual during the day, at night girls from New York know how to dress up big time! The goal is to find the perfect balance between elegant, sophisticated and sexy – which is really not that easy! Going out here in Berlin and also back during the Maastricht days, you do not really care that much about what you wear. Basically, you could go in the same outfit that you wore during the day. But when I was in New York, I noticed that getting ready for the night was a whole process. Continue Reading
Sometimes I forget how much I like it when my hair is straight. It just turns me into a completely different person and it gives the outfits I’m wearing a more edgy vibe I think. But anyway, this post should not be about my hair, but more about this outfit that I’m sharing with you today. If you look at it, it’s very simple – I actually brought so many basic pieces with me to New York because I did not know what to pack – but what makes it special and somehow eye-catching after all are the small details and accessories. Look closer – see those cute ruffles that are sewed all around this denim jacket? Or the lace-up detail of this loose, black shirt, giving it a little sexy twist? I’m sure you noticed the beautiful embroidery of the mules I’m wearing though, just like the pink detail on my bag.
New York, New York – one of the most exciting and busy cities in the world. A place where crazy meets serious; a place where you can be who you want to be… well, at least if you got enough money. New York has been on top of my travel lists for such a long time. Is the city really how it is portrayed in the movies? Fancy jazz bars, high heels and short dresses, busy business men, advertisement overload, bright and colorful lights, buildings so high your neck hurts when looking up, crazy traffic with loads of yellow cabs, plenty of aspiring artists… I could think of so many more stereotypical associations with New York. And you know what? It was just that. New York was just how I expected it to be. With one of my best friends and now local New Yorker Vivien as company, it turned out to be even better than I expected it. Continue Reading
