Coachella has haunted us – it was simply all over social media. This year, there probably have been as many anti-coachella posts as “I-am-having-so-much-fun-here-at-coachella”-posts. Well, haters gonna hate, but in the end we can not deny that the outfits at this festival are indeed inspirational, even if not always totally wearable.
The festival season has actually just started for everyone else, so I thought I could show you two looks which would totally work for, let’s say a summer concert or any other outdoor music event, where it’s less about showing off and more about the music. But even in that case, the outfit still has to be on point… can’t really help it as a fashion enthusiast, can you? ;)
Today I am showing you a biker look that is pretty basic, made out of a combination that simply always, always works – Denim and leather – all kept in monochrome. However, such a seemingly easy outfit can create an effect reaching from Oh, Well… to Damn, that’s fine! The main factors accounting for that are first of all the quality of the products and second, the confidence with which you wear them. Oftentimes, these two factors even reinforce each other. If you feel confident and comfortable in your clothes, you seemingly add value to their quality – at least that’s what people think. Did you ever have a really good day, you were wearing something nothing special, but people asked you where you got your clothes from? They think it’s the item that makes you shine, but nah, you are making that piece work! On the other side though, wearing high quality clothes can also give some confidence back to you.
In case of this outfit, I must say it was a combination of both. I love the quality of those rough denims and the strong leather of that jacket from ASOS, but I also had a really good day – which is why I am also happy about how those pictures in my biker look turned out.
